Hunter turned four last week!
He woke up and ran straight to his new "four-wheeler-jeep" Brett had set up the night before. "Happy birthday, four year old," I said. "Wait! I don't
feel four," he smiled, "I feel the same as I did yesterday, so I'm probably still three."
As you can tell, Hunter's birthday present is a hit with Kye as well...
Hunter chose to go to Mickey On Ice instead of having a party with friends.
(Yes, we took their picture in front of the snack bar... I'm not paying twenty bucks to take a picture next to some cardboard cutout when there's a perfect spot in front of the snack bar!)
(I was quite happy about that choice, myself! Instead of doing all the work that comes with throwing a birthday party, I was able to just sit... Who can complain about that?)
Baby brother was able to reap the benefits from Hunter's birthday as well. Both boys were mesmerized. I never knew Kye was capable of sitting so still.
My mom came, so of course, Kye wouldn't let anyone else hold him... Here we are all- I stuck Brett in there with us ;) Hunter will actually smile for the camera when his dad is holding him :) That was Saturday.
We wrapped (or unwrapped, get it?) it all up on Sunday, with the family party.
Here he is making his birthday wish as he blows out the candles. (He later told me his birthday wish was to eat some of his Mickey cake... so it came true pretty quickly!)
"I really love getting presents!" They learn young, don't they? Happy birthday, Hunter! I love your never-ending questions, your infinite amount of energy, your sweet nature, and everything about you!
I learned a lot from doing "Millie"- no, unfortunately I can't say I'm a proffessional dancer or anything, but I polished a few moves...
With that being said, thanks to Zoe for letting me steal some pics- Forgot the cam (I was decked out in 20's garb over 15 times and not once remembered the camera)
This is me as "Gurdy" the poor girl who had to wear the wig fondly known as "the rat..." NOT CUTE! (See top left person) Remind me to NEVER go back to my NaTuRaL CoLoR! And there's no need to remind me never to cut my hair like that!
