Just as life is like a rollercoaster with it's ups and downs, so it is with my journaling efforts. Gotta be authentic, right?

Where did THE LAST 3 YEARS go? Playing catch up is too overwhelming so I'll just try to keep going as if I never stopped.

Half-Soaked!

Kyler is fiercly loyal- ESPECIALLY to his big bro.

When Kyler and I stopped at Hunter's classroom after church on Sunday, we were surprised to see him crying. "I'm so sorry one of the kids laughed at his picture," his teacher told me.

After consoling him and trying to help his "feelings feel better," Kye decided to "say a prayer for Hunter." It melted my heart that Kyler thought of praying for his brother, all on his own. I was also happy, might I add, that what we're teaching him is sinking in!
My joy was short-lived, however:
"Please help Hunter feel better, and make so-and-so go home and feel reeeeally reeally sad!"
Well, he's got the praying for others part down but I guess we better start focusing on forgiveness now :)

About a Month Later...

I'm finally posting our family picture from when Trae was 6 weeks old:
Thanks to my amazingly talented little sister!
She's one of those people who can do everything.
She's also beautiful and smart and genuinely sweet as well :)
All my boys:
Sittin' in a Tree...
Typical Kye-Guy:
Here are some from my mom & I having fun a week earlier:

Trae was such a good sport, even when his limbs started turning blue...
So we of course had to give him a break and get some of Mr. Personality:
Who loved having it be all about him for a change...
On to the brothers hammin' it up:

This picture shows just how hard Hunter was trying to please his mom by perfectly posing:
While this shows how Kyler thought he was so funny by keeping his eyes closed.
The more I demanded that he open his eyes, the tighter he'd squeeze them...
Ah, Kyler... He did redeem himself by giving us this little gem:
I'm so bummed though, because I didn't get all the cute pics downloaded to my computer, so more to come...
