I'm Finally Coming Around...

When I first found out I was preggers with a baby boy, I thought the Lord had a pretty good sense of humor.
When our second little guy came along, I decided He was telling me it was time to get out there and broaden my horizons, so to speak.
It's no secret I'm a bit girly when it comes to sports.
Five years ago I thought baseball was the most boring thing in the world, next to golf. My biggest nightmare was becoming a "soccer mom," having to sit and "pretend" to be interested in a bunch of kids chasing a ball back and forth.

Well, here you have it folks- I'm a changed woman!

How dang cute is this? I don't know what is more fun about t-ball...

I'm so grateful for my boys!
And boy (ha, ha, get it?), am I grateful my Heavenly Father knows me better than I know me, because otherwise I'd be missing out on this great opportunity to burst with joy as I watch my boys throw a ball or run the wrong way through the outfield. And yes, I might even add, here I sit with a goofy smile as I think about how much I LOVE baseball (well, t-ball) and how excited I am to set up my chair and join the other soccer moms next fall!

Who Says?

Who says you have to go to a theme park to have fun? That's what our back yard is- Welcome to the Johnson's very own Backyard Adventureland!

Kye didn't know what hit him last week when he was able to jump AND get wet all at the same time!

Oh, and I forgot to add, he got to keep his binki- I actually think I'm more attatched than he is- this kid has it made!

How did we survive the winter?!?!

We are definitely so blessed to be able to walk right outside and have so many fun friends around! In our circle alone there are over eleven little guys within a couple years of each other. (That's not including the cute little girls we love as well).

Have you ever had some really EXPENSIVE pictures taken and then completely LOST them? I have.

The saddest part of all, was that the kids had been super GRUMPY for the cute little fotogenix girl. She still managed to get some darling shots, in which I spent quite a large sum of $$ on...

At first, I just thought I misplaced them. Then, after tearing everything apart, I figured I might have accidentally thrown them away. Bummer.

So I went to *Target* to get some "cheaper" replacements taken & the kiddies were amazingly cooperative, so we ended up with a bit more than I had expected:

Look at that tan line. I swear, nomatter how much sunscreen I slather on this kid, his skin soaks in the color! Kye, on the other hand, is the exact opposite and will burn despite the large amounts we stick on him. Get used to hourly sunscreen applications, kiddo! Hope you like hats!
